My Purpose:
Who I Am
I’m Allyson Hernandez, Founder & CEO of AH Coaching Group, Executive Coach, leadership advisor, author, and a multi-hyphenate creative.
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in environments where leadership, learning, and human connection come together. My career has spanned the corporate world and the performing arts. Both have taught me the same thing: powerful leadership is about reading the room, communicating with intention, and connecting authentically.
Before launching AH Coaching Group, I served as a Director of Learning and Leadership Development for a national workforce and became a founding Executive Coach at Chief. As an ICF-accredited coach (ACC) with certifications in Energy Leadership, Myers-Briggs, Emotional Intelligence, and Hogan, I thrive on integrating creativity into the design of leadership development programs and workshops.
My creative life remains an essential part of who I am. I began in musical theater before moving into corporate HR and leadership development. Eventually, I realized I couldn’t imagine my life without theater and music and telling stories so I began creating them for myself.
Today, I continue to build, perform, write, produce, and bring stories to life across music, theater and TV. I am the author of the novel Ballad of Dreams, for which I also composed the music, have released multiple original music albums, and was featured on the Tamron Hall Show.
Whether I’m coaching an executive leader, performing on stage, writing a new project, or creating something from the ground up, I’m driven by two core ideas: creating deep human connections and helping people feel inspired.

What I Do

I bring the strategy of an HR leader and the instincts of a performer to my work. By blending emotional intelligence, storytelling, intuition, and creativity, I help leaders understand themselves, navigate difficult conversations, communicate with absolute influence, and perform at their best.
The goal isn’t to perform a version of leadership. It’s to help people apply their skills in order to show up with confidence, clarity, and presence, without feeling like they’re putting on an act.
